Equine Touch
Described by leading Vets as...
'The ultimate hands on modality for horses'
The Equine Touch TM is a non-diagnostic, non-invasive, hands-on system of bodywork addressing the whole horse with an organised series of unique, gentle, vibrational moves over soft tissue.
Ever wished you could push a reset button when your horse gets an injury?Whether it is just for a routine check up or in response to an injury, Equine Touch is an exciting and effective modality.
Started in 1997 by Jock Ruddock, an ex policeman and international wrestler, Jock developed the modality VHT on people after years of putting people back together during wrestling. After years of working on people one day a client asked him to work on her horse and Equine Touch started from there. What's so special about this modality?I am often asked if I can help with 'back problems', stiffness, long established injuries or just offer relaxation. The answer is YES but not because specific moves are used to address the problem but because the whole body is always addressed.

How does it work?Equine Touch works using the soft tissue, the muscle and tissue (Fascia) that joins and holds the body together. Gently stretching the skin to allow a light pressure in behind the muscle and then releasing that pressure by vibrating through the muscle allows the vibration to emanate throughout that area and the whole body.
This unique move and vibration then allows the body to re-balance its systems. The vibration acts like someone shaking out all the bad things stored up in the muscle, it increases circulation and removes toxins. |
